We're seeking local partners that foster pride in our cultures and communities.
Look, Listen and Learn is made possible due to its collaborative enterprises. Our work is done in partnership with children, families, local non-profit organizations and civic institutions committed to Look, Listen and Learn’s mission: To inspire and advance early learning in young children of color by offering a locally-produced television show and related programing that is anchored in research about what works best to promote school readiness and success.
The Seattle Children’s Museum provides space for filming many of our learning segments. As a part of our partnership, the museum also offers free/discounted entry to the children and families who participate.
The Atlantic Street Center helps us identify the children and families appearing on the show.
King County’s Best Starts for Kids is a major funder, and provides us with needed training, technical assistance and networking opportunities.
The Seattle Public Library and the King County Library System librarians go in front of the camera to read to children and provide space to film the reading segments.
